Functional Skills MathsThis course is for those who wish to improve or develop their existing maths skills, and gain qualifications nationally recognised by employers and training providers. Your areas of study will include: Number, Geometry and Data Handling skills. You will develop your understanding and application of maths in a variety of contexts in preparation for the examinations.

How will I learn?
A range of activities at the appropriate level that will develop the range of maths skills.
How will I be assessed?
The formal assessment will be a non-calculator paper, followed by a calculator paper. This will be a controlled assessment. There will be practice assessments during the course that will assess how your skills are developing.

Tutors will set tasks to complete that will support and enhance the work done in college.

Kingsway Campus, Dunstable: Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
Incuba, Dunstable: Monday evening.
Dallow Road Community Centre, Luton: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Morning as well as Tuesday afternoon.
